Scott Mulligan

Voice: As a singer who has to sing multiple genre’s myself for a living, I have what it takes to teach any style. I incorporate classical technique then add the style to it.  I find it’s hard for students to find a good pop voice teacher, because so many teachers are outdated and can’t sing pop music themselves, but I will give you best of both worlds and the coaching of professional industry standard.

Acting/Audition Prep: I have been to many Broadway auditions and tv/film auditions and have taken from the best teachers in the country in both LA and NYC. I have the inside scoop of what it takes to succeed in these audition rooms!

Piano: I teach beginning and intermediate piano for adults and children. I will teach you to read music and understand the theory that goes behind it.

Scott Mulligan recently finished a seven month run of the Broadway Musical “Tarzan” for Disney at Tuacahn Amphitheater, where he played the lead role as Tarzan for 3,000 people a night. Scott received his B.F.A. from the #1 music school in the country “Boston Conservatory at Berklee School of Music.” Scott has worked closely with Tony award winning Broadway directors such as Liesl Tommy (Frozen Live), Jason Michael Webb (Music arranger for “Frozen”), and Glenn Casale (“Peter Pan”). Scott’s credits also include Gypsy (NCTheatre), Rock of Ages (Norwegian Cruise Lines), Hunch Back (Tuacahn). Scott is also a proud member of AEA. Scott has taught student from all around the world and has trained with the best, therefore he knows exactly what a student needs to take them to the next level!

I am originally from Seattle, Washington and I love the outdoors! I have my own music out on all digital outlets as well and I feel so much of my inspiration for songwriting comes from my home town. I also lived next to the largest active volcanoe in North America while I was in Washington! I’m very adventurous and love to travel too! I have lived in 9 states since I graduated!
